So do you if you think that high dollar automotive paints dont need to be wetsanded. Even House of Color paint that costs $500 a quart still needs to be wetsanded and polished to get that perfect glass look.

 

well, you sorta right.. but it does all depend on the sprayer. a true professional can lay down the clear w/no orange peal. but if a mirror look wants to be had, 1200-1400 wetsand is a must. then buff out, but can not be waxed for 3 months.. unless you want solvent pop.

 

how much did your jdm front end run yea?

you keeping it oem style, or modding the jdm front bumper with something... carbon fiber air duct, a flat running wind defuser, canards, fog lights, ?

just tryin to maby get in the Squad but i have no chance and the cleaning of the block wasn't done by me these two guys came trying to sell me some cleaner and was showing me an ex. but thats ok cause it was just coverd in oil from the last owner. just trying to spruse it up a little with the valve cover cause it wat all scratched up, and finly the sohc sticker was suposed to be smaller to fit in the bottom window of a crx the people asked if we wanted to keep it after we got the right one so we tryed it on my car and it is as u can see way too big. o ya and ya its a real shity D15B1

yeah man take some ajex and a brush to that engine if thats what you plan on doing. I mixed Ajax with Simple Green and it worked hella good

yeah you can do the same to the tranny too. But all the build up might be for a reason so while cleaning I would keep in mind leaks and stuff like that aswell.
Cleaning it will help with that in the future

 

ya i think that it was a the valve gasket but i got a whole head gasket set for it

are you asking me? if so i got a hell of a deal trading my front end plus 400$ for it. probably just leaving it plain until i have to trim it up for my intercooler.

 

any of you ef folks have a vss for sale? just tried hooking it up and the one i had was like an inch or two short? i thought i remembered them being longer... pm me if you have one

damn thats cheap. And the US is trying to steal gas from you guys so they can charge us more which is the part that sucks
