Just needing some information as I am potentially looking at starting my shuttle journey. I am looking specifically at the 4wd 'Beagle' versions. Now I understand they are 4wd, which I am not very familiar with esp from the honda range. Do they drive fairly differently to other hondas? regular FWD EF's? also, in terms of slamming the 4wd versions, does it affect the drivetrain a lot, put a lot of strain on it, more so wear and tear faster when lowered quite substantially? Would love to hear some personal experience feedback from members who actually own Beagles - if any?

Thanks

Dont have any personal experience but most wagon owners frequent hondacivicwagon.com and most questions can be answered there.

they are awd.

power gets transfered by a slip system so it is like a 60/40 ratio.

hondacivicwagon is the place for all wagon answers.

few guys have the beagles on there since the wagon guys are all around the world.

I have heard nothing good about them, horrible ride and do no go low in the rear. There have been 2 installs on hondacivicwagon and both did not like them.

I don't know if I ever originally posted this stuff in this very topic, but it looks like soon I'll finally get all of these parts installed in my wagon:

1993 Integra GS-R YS1 tranny
Brand new seals and all breaings
94-01 Integra LS 5th gear - tallest B series 5th gear (for highway cruising)
HASport anodized black mounts with street 62A poly
HASport EFB shift linkages
Skunk2 short shifter
ES poly shift linkage bushings

These bits will make my wagon to be what I believe to be the perfect daily driver. It's almost there. The current AZ Race Machine mounts are 70A and add some buzz/hum at certain rpm, and the shift linkage has always been somewhat sloppy.

With the short-*** 1-4 gears, and 4.400 FD it will rip pretty hard, but with the taller 5th gear it will cruise within 100rpm of its current 5th gear cruising rpm with its YS1 LS tranny.
