To answer your first question :

"hey guys i was wondering what kind of suspension you're putting on your wagons to get them so low(compered to stock), are you using EF parts or are they custom? i ask because recently i had a sudden desire to get one of these and have been considering trading my ek hatch in order to get one ''

I believe most everyone is using EF / CRX / Sedan suspension on their wagons . If you search the thread you'll find out what most of us are using . I'm running Tokico Blues and Tokico lowering springs for a CRX .

As far as throwing a Vtec head on the stock engine it's pretty much the same as on any other 88-91 ( sometimes the same headaches ) . Just gets a little interesting with the RT4WD and space . Not as hard on the 2WD . Same goes for boost as far as I know .

exactly what i wanted to know, thank you. i've been looking for a 4wd wagon but they are pretty hard to come by so im going to settle for a fwd one. if i do get one i plan to drop a vtec head on it and boost, or drop a b series in, assuming i get the right trade deal for my ek of course.

Keep an eye out on craigslist , they pop up every once in a while . If you do find one , the DPFI is going to involve a little more work . Than an MPFI . But if your going 2WD it will most likely be DPFI .

It's pretty stock, but I'm happy with it and have done a lot of work to save it from rotting away in a barn after 5 years. Build thread: http://www.hondacivicwagon.com/bb/vi...php?f=5&t=7038

one of my favorite pics so far...

damn ***** you should've searched the thread. it's been covered by numerious people asking the same question. any ef/da suspension will work with no problems. as for vtec head swaps. if your rt4wd it's the same as anyother obd0 mini me. if its a 2wd then youll have to do an mpfi conversion before you can start.
