OK SERIOUS QUESTION.

Would a Carbon hood be ok for daily driving?? Like I've heard that the latch doesn't hold up that well. And you need hood pins. i don't really want hood pins.

It is okay, but obviously not the most safe. I've had three different farbon hoods, 1 with pins and two without. Never had a problem with any of them.

Basically the problem with most farbon hoods that causes them to flip up is poor fitment and air getting between the bumper and the hood, causing ENORMOUS drag and lift on the hood from underneath. This of course causes the fibers to split where the metal latch was bolted or woven in. If you can fit the hood tight and seal the gap between the hood and the front bumper with a gasket of some kind, you will obviously reduce the upward pressure and can avoid the hood flying up at you Tommy Boy style.

This, of course, is not a replacement for hood pins, it's simply the best way for you to get by without them.

I had one on my hatch from VIS...never had problem in almost 6 months, but it was always in the back of my mind

If you don't like the look of traditional hoodpins, aerocatch or something like that makes some unique ones that are almost flush with the hood...here ya go

sure thing

well, the headlight polishing is just about done as good as I can get, doesn't look great, but at least they'll be better than before(rock chips/dents, and clear film peeling everywhere)

well got one finished(should say about 99% done actuall...just need to glue the lense to the headlight)...**** needed A LOT more trimming than I thought but it is what it is.... they don't call it custom fabrication because it's easy...or at this point cheap

If that's a dirty octopus, I'd like to see what a clean one looks like.

nah, I actually need a better camera IMO...the diference between the best setting and the one for the most pictures really isn't that noticeable to me and the amount of pictures I can take is a huge difference(35 with the best setting, 145 with the lowest setting for a 64MB card)
