hello lady(s) and gents, here's some progress pics already:
Old bumper:


Front bumper removed, aux lights removed(all wiring/connectors electrical taped over so if I want to have them back I don't need to solder anything):


Initial test fitNOTE: not bolted up, just placed on the bumper support)


Things I've done already:
-Eliminated the gap between the lip and bumper on the driver side by pushing it in and adding another bolt/nut to it

-Put grille up to bumper...no go (about 2" to long on each side when centered.) Any offers for it? Considering just doin a minor mod(sectioning out a small strip on each side) to the grille to make it work

I'm only semi serious about that...I'd rather just make a custom one like the grillecraft....sucks they didn't make one for the 96-97bumper

thanks, plan to be done with it by saturday night....tommorrow if I really bust my *** I've done all I can without sandpaper & epoxy

 

i completely forgot about earthquakes but yea sooo for soo good it looks like they are dieing down before they hit soooo hopefully just rain but hey here are sum pix of my 97 bumper :-p
