my dad is telling me that the only "older" cars are needed to be smogged. and by this im guess he's talking obd1 and older... so that means us 95 and olders will still need it but i have yet to smog my car and the previous owner did it ages ago so.....

i believe you have that backwards, terrence. its older cars that don't need to be smogged. i don't remember how old the car has to be. probably 20yrs..

i know what you're saying, that is for cars older than 1973. but my dad was trying to say something about obd1 down to 73 had to be smogged, but ill have to look it up and see if he's right.
