Your set of used Sparco seats is not magically worth $300 more than the other three comparable sets for sale by Honda owners.

The RHD was in the car when I got it and although at first it kinda sucked I really grew into liking it.
And I was in a rush with the idea of getting some. Didnt work like I had planed. O well you live you learn. But now I can start with a new project and build it from scratch.

i hear there are a lot of contaminants that make there way into the catch can. so draining it into the oil pan could contaminate the oil. do you really have to keep adding oil? the stock system (pcv for the crank and the vc tube) both find there way into the im and get burned, not back into the crank. so i would think it would need oil just as much as the stock setup. but then again turbo motor tolerances are looser then stock so i suppose the high cylinder pressures could blow by the rings when its cold and force oil out of the block, witch would need to be replaced.
its not just straight oil that ends up in the CC, but like, it ends up milky and gross.. lol def not something id want ending up back into my motor
i'll just carry a spare quart of oil lol
that's why the breather box, like the T1 for example is designed the way it is
its got baffles and everything to keep the contaminants in the box at the bottom. So basically you got like another quart running throughout the system.
Then if you look at where the fittings that go into the back of the block, they don't come from underneath the box but rather the side. so only "overflowed" oil drains back and the shitty oil stays in the box. not a perfect system but it works and the pros use it for a reason.
Try running a catch can on a fully built 600+ whp, 25+ lbs set up w/o a drain. so much blow by will fill it up like a champ in minutes. you'll be leaking oil and smoking all the way down the track (whcih the officials will hate you for) and have to drain in between runs which is critical and hectic inbetween eliminations, even if you have a pit crew/team.
but even my small little carbing i have on my stock motor works and i cleaned it out the other day to change the lines and there was some nasty stuff in there. glad i had it and guess it actually works.

very true.. on a high hp turbo motor, a drain back might be necessary, but i was talking about for my personal build i wouldnt run one lol just a little stock gsr
i suppose on a high horse power track car with blow by, draining it is i more convenient. but on a lower hp street car (all i will ever see) id like to keep the oil *** clean as possible to make the motor last.
i was thinking, any turbo motor without a catch can would be a bad idea. the stock system used im vacuum to "suck" the pressure/fumes out of the crank. but with a turbo car seeing boost, it will force the pcv closed so any blow by is forced to stay in the bottom of the block *nervous*

yea, plus on a high HP track car.. your changing the oil alot more often then on a street car, so contaminants in the oil wouldnt sit there as long as in a street car lol
for those who were whining about the prices of those NIB floormats, here you go

Oh **** wished I knew that you lived in Dallas when I went there last month.. Maybe if I'm still here you can come gve me a ride if you still havn't sold the thing.
Why is it such a bitch to find a 97 bumper.
I had found a kid who was gonna trade me, his 97's bumper for my 94', I was even gonna give him my Aux Lights which I just recently re-aquired, only to find out the bottom of the bumper looked like a Alligator had thought it was prey.
Fack i just want a 97 bumper!
