Haha, thanks! The Sol used to be mine but I traded it to friend quite a while back. After some horrible car choices I've ended up with the Z32. Hopefully somebody else can answer your production number question since I'm not terribly sure. I do know they produced the least in '97 though. What trim level is it?

Leather seats were a dealer option added to the window invoice. Not actually done at the factory
I've seen a few em1's with leather seats
Ebp ones with matching blue leather in the middle and "si" stitched in

Yes... you own a del sol
This is a layed back group, you don't need to live with your parents and have $1,000,000 worth of parts to be "in"

Well, I love it to.
But hate when **** doesn't happen the right way, something breaks, wrong parts, etc.
Which happens every time - so I hate working on cars.

That is a popular misconception. My first 97 del Sol VTEC was a late VIN also. Speculation is that American Honda put factory leather in the first run of 500 97's because we were able to track a few VIN's of the ones that had OEM Honda leather. I gave mine to a friend who currently has them in his 93 right now.
They don't have the same exact stitch as the other's, I.E. there's no "stripe" down the middle, rather there are strips of leather that run horizontally and around the torso bolster area.
