No seriously.

I better have the fastest [freak]ing D series turbo ever made. I've got more then 3 grand in the [freak]ing motor alone. I still have to buy 90% of the turbo setup

I finally can get the Sol tuned!!!! I drove it for the first time in almost a month today. It pulls hard with just the base tune for a JRSC b16 @10psi with 440cc injectors. I'm running 12 psi with 550cc injectors, so it's running a little rich. I'll post up numbers from the dyno some time this coming weekend.

HOW THE FUKC do you have 3K into the build setup and still have to buy 90% of the turbo **** and for a damn D series?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!

-Ls rods shotpeened and rebushed - 200-250
-vitaras with rings- 100 - 150
-hone/bore cylinders - 150-200
-balance and BP bottom end- 100-200
-have a shop reassemble bottom end with all new gaskets- 500-750
Total for bottom end: 1000-1500

-port and polish the head- 750-1000
-good valvetrain setup - 400-500
-zex 59300cam- 200-250
total for topend: 1300-1800

have shop assemble full longblock with all new seals, pumps and belts; 500-800

turbo setup itself:
-GT28BB turbo 750-1000
-nice manifold-500-800
-custom DP-100-300
-SRE IC piping w/modifying to fit perfect-250-300
-BOV-50-200
-FMIC - 150-400
-WG -150-200
-oil lines -100-150
-Misc stuff- 100-250
-have a shop install it all on the car:400-800
total turbo: 2500-4000

setup like what I just listed would be reliable to about 350whp easily and spool up quicker than ****......so I hope you're planning on either making this a strip only car or just going all out to never have to worry about anything at all.

He said he had over 3K invested into the motor alone, and then you typed up that build list, which with the block and head list prices you gave totalled 4100 (1500+1800+800) at the highest and at the lowest 2800 (1000+1300+500).

Turbo setups are expensive, plus there are so many other things included in a turbo setup that weren't listed -- fuel parts, 3" exhaust, new motor mounts, etc.

Turbo = teh expensive.

Plus if he is not the one installing it all, he is looking at at least 700 for the motor, and almost 1200 for the turbo install and tune. Plus you didn't include, any transmission stuff like clutch, tuning software and plus why use LS rods when you're building the bottom end? Don't forget about rod bolts, head studs, etc.

I have been typing way too much, but while you're spending all of that money xathine, just resleeve the block

I know what goes into a good turbo setup, I've done two myself and yeah forgot to list all fule and drivetrain related items. IDK, I just think it's assnine to do a full on build for a z6....especially when you need to buy one like he had to and having to pay a premium for every little thing. here in so cal, it's rare to see a comp[lete z6 swap go for more than 400-450(with tranny, dizzy, everything.

could've done a much simpler setup like what barry has for sale(I pieced it all together then sold it to him) turbod the current motor that's in his car and push 200whp reliably all day for less than 1500 tuned or done all the bottomend work I mentioned and push 250-275WHP on that small turbo and no cam/headwork.
