my 60-1 had a .48 wheel
truth is I hated it and blew too many motors
made good power but at high psi

if I got the GT35 like I wanted with the .63 wheel
I would've made the same power (~400whp) at WAY less boost
damn me for cutting corners and being cheap
oh well...learnt my mistake for sure

thats why i'm done with boost for a while
although I do miss it and am reluctant to drive or even ride in a turbo car as it might "awaken" the urge again once I hear the WG and BOV

we finally made it here, two del sols and an s2k from my crew, everyone else bailed, or had legitimate reasons to not make it. from what i saw in the two minutes when i turned off the exit, onto the road of the hotel, i'm excited for the morning to come. but today was a long day, so im going to bed to recover

looks like it's getting close. it's starting to rain and thunder. usually all the hurricanes that are "supposed" to hit, start turning in a different direction. this one looks like it's coming dead on. kind of freaky. i've been close to a tornado while visiting family in oklahoma. it touched down right across the highway. crazy stuff.

so... looks like no one bothered to respond to that ^^^ lol... it's cool.

when the storm hit us, it was a Cat 2. it brought a lot of wind and rain, but minimal destruction. a couple of our main streets were submerged, and a lot of neighborhoods were also flooded. most of the city was left without power, and some are still without power(my neighborhood is one of them). 2 days later, most of the water is gone, and the clean up has already started. most, if not all businesses are back up and running. the extent of the damage was mainly blown down trees, broken fences, and flooding. i'm glad it wasn't severe....

to dSoc... #95 is safe...

i also ordered a few things before the storm hit.. they should be here sometime next week.

Yeah it is the same one as his. It just looks ugly lol. Clutters up the interior and theres control unit for it in the engine bay thats pretty bulky/ugly too. Interior should look cleaner when its gone.

Good idea with selling it too might get a couple of bucks for it

well, im here! wow longggggg drive bout 2 hrs in my **** started overheating baddddddd,, so i cranked on the heat on full blast for a little, (in 100* weather mind you) and it kept going up;; so we pulled over, changed thermostat, got back going, and 30 miles later, there it goes, back up.. grrr.. so we drive a bit more (heat full blast) then pull off again to try and get it sorted out.. ended up finding out my [freak]ing FAL fan was shorting out.. ok great, wtf am i to do in bum[freak] nowhere GA, with no fan.. so then i had the great idea to use my slimfan off my a/c condensior, wire it up, good to go.. still slightly overheating, but i just left heat on vent, and it seemed to be ok

so that was my journey, 14 hrs later, we made it.. so far met Justin, yorT, crazed-sol, and elliot.. good times so far.. just gotta clean up my car tomrrow morning.. gah

well goodnight ******.. im BEAT!

 

ahhh... sucks about the sol wray...but im glad you made it safe
