why? don't be
you're already getting a pair on the 5-lug you already have remember

wray,
stick to 4 lug and just get a brembo big brake kit
or just stoptech,rotora,etc red calipers
i personally think red would go better with "teal" than light blue...
and would match the rega wheels and stickers better

Spoon blue would match well though, I'd be jealous too lol but I do agree that red calipers w/ white regas would look mint too.

yay!
wish you made the decision on your own and it wasn't made for you thought ;(

500 could get you another MINT (maybe even brand newish) set of headlights (even though yours were already pretty mint though)

i'm assuming as long as have the honda harness
it would be no harder than wiring any other cd player

trying to get a little piece of s2k in the sol?
thats what i've been trying to do lol...
</TD></TR></TABLE>

LOL yeah..well this car doesnt seem to wanna go away..whether it be a potential buyer or even theft! LOLOL.

Im actually eying a couple of other things right now
and I was gona leave the s2k cluster idea alone for a little bit..my cd player is just acting funny lately and the volume doesnt wanan go up or down so I was gona buy another one today..but then my friend offered me an s2000 one for free so I was just looking into it..

Im thinking of a way to redue my motor on the cheap so I can crack 13s on street tires like I originally planned..

if I just swap skunk2 pro1 cams in,it wouldnt cost me more than a hundred-200 in between selling out the bc3 cams back out and what not..i got a friend to street tune it for me and Im set..about an hour worth of labor

im somewhat unsatisfied with the bc3 cams..maybe a better tune would

just debating if i should get a thinner headgasket too or just wait to get pistons .I really dont need/want a lot of power or anything..I really wanna autox a lot more after this sunday especially so the stuff Im looking at buying is more oriented towards that..

13s on street tires is just a personal goal as far as drag racing goes

I have a part time Driving job that send me ALL OVER INDIANA. witch means I have a lot of time to think about what I want to do with my sol.... So Tonight I though of doing the Civic Si Blue..( I don't know the EG or Ek stuff but basicly the 97 style..sorry I will learn them) and have the lip also painted to match with 16 inch white with a polished lip wheels..... I love how this looks in my head just wanted to know what you guys though...does it sound "rice" or like it would look clean???

well i don't see the words "body kit", "neon lights", "altezzas", "vinyl graphics", etc. in there anywhere so it sounds good to me.

by the way that color you're referring to is Electron Blue Pearl (99-00 Si).

well i havent had both..but from what ive seen online..the pro1s usually make better power..

the buddy club spec3s ran awesome when I had a good tune on it..but I think something went wrong in between me getting a working ecu with a hondata/uploading the map to it (long story) cause right now my buddies hatch with ctr cams pulls harder

anyways..I had the car on a really good tune with the bc3s for like 10 mins..spanked a 06 gt..then the s200 took a crap and wouldnt burn..

got an s300..(another tuner this time)..the p28 was toast..so he tuned it on another friends ecu..walked an s2k with that tune..and had to save the map on a disc till i got another p28..

well i got another p28..uploaded the new map..car didnt run the same since..

anyways, the reason ive been thinking about going with pros,is cause i had a buddy running pro2s on a b20vtec..and I know his set up is much bigger and better than mine..but his top end is just monstrocious. He convinced me it would do a lot for my top end as well..

the bc3s are great..but lack top end..

Default Re: (SOLtrain "tiiiteboyee")

too bad you've had so many ecu problems
I've had my fair share as well

in fact there was a period where my dad couldn't get a single k-pro to work for my car (lot of messed up k-pros )
had a working one in my car for a week but had to give it to a customer

i watched him do them and you won't believe how small the compnents that need to soldered on are....needed a microsope camera projected on a 47" lcd just to see it lol

anyways, you realize how tricky ecu's are and how easy they can fail and cause huge problems
seen every problem from a to z, limp mode, won't upload, won't datalog, etc from improper install, being damaged,shocked,etc...which has even caused some motors to blow

my dad's ecu is his drag car kept going in limp mode after the burnout when it wsa fine cause it was in the car when he had the cage rewelded...
a new fresh ecu fixed it
expensive fix and worse part is it had boost by gear

i'm sure you'll be happy when you get those pro1s and get teh top end you want so badly
should be perfect for your setup
but are you going to keep teh bc3s incase you want low end (for auto-x?)

p.s. i think i found a pair of cams for my head and might be picking those up this summer with a few other engine mod/upgrades...but don't want to get out of hand like before
having a modest (i mean that in a good way) and reliable like sashas would be my goal
