lol..... not sure if you know, but i actually worked at jackson racing, and will probably return there after i get back from china.
the unfortunate thing is that we get hundreds of calls where people buy incomplete kits from ebay and expect us to do all the work for them figuring out why it isnt working, and what they need to make it work. all of the information is available online, and every single nut and bolt is listed here: http://www.supercharger.com/gr...0.pdf
call them back if you need more help, and ask for either Kevin Hille, or David Howells, and tell them you're a friend of Jon's and that you have a del sol. i promise they'll take care of you. Chances are you talked to Keith, who is a little rough around the edges. He is a really really really great guy, but he is easily irritated.</TD></TR></TABLE>
HAHA no I didnt know you worked there.
I guess I feel that if you run a company that sells something with alot of parts sometimes you need to support those parts.
I have done it for years with computers. There are alot of idiots out there, in this case I am a supercharger idiot. I need help.
see the problem with the online parts catalog is that everything has a name/part number, a name/part number that I dont know. If i knew the name/part number of the parts I wanted I would be more then happy to figure out what I need. if they had pictures with parts named even, I would do the work. If they had pictues next to each of the parts I would figure it out.
the guy that didnt help me at all was Steve Mendez.
I just emailed my question in and got a responce pretty much what you said other then he said I had all the major parts.... thanks i couldnt figure that part out.
I figured that calling would be a good way to do it but I work during the day and I hate talking on phones so i figured email was a better way to do it.
I apreciate the help I may actualy give it a second chance insead of just selling it and going turbo.

thanks for the pics and write up
looks good
i guess thats the cost of putting a big motor with a decent tranny in a sol...
at least you don't have ground clearance problems
and you're not denting oil pans, headers, breaking axles
once you fix the hood and make sure it clears...you're all set
the last pic already looks great, good enough for me...
but will look even better once its fully done
</TD></TR></TABLE>
I actually do have ground clearance problems, but it's fixable if I get a new header.

What projectors? The same ones I've had? They're still just sitting on the car.
Edit: Ownage! To change it up, here's the old ride:

Haha, it's a problem for me. I couldn't make it into some driveways, I'd scrape it on dips in roads, etc. But once I get and modify a new header I'll be golden.

Wow
I guess H motors are just really long
too high too loo either way you cut it
guess you have to tilt it in or mount it diagonally in a del sol chassis to get it to fit LOL
here are some pics i took for a oil pan clearance thread on k20a:
axle angle:
oil pan:
drop measured from fender:
