JdmTypeRdc2, what headlights are these?
</TD></TR></TABLE>

my headlights are OEM, however they are retrofitted with tsx projectors. the clear lenses came from ebay halo lights. so i basically swapped out the clear lenses onto the oem housings to provide a clearer, sharper cutoff wth no glare...

so basically its an oem housing, tsx projectors, color modded, ebay clear lenses, and painted flat silver....some more pics can be found in the hid retrofit thread.

yea going with the clear lenses is muucch better. those 3 little flutes that the headlight has will throw the light around and create glare. the best way to reduce that glare is to have clear lenses, and painting the bezels a flat solid color, so that there is no chrome for the light to reflect off.
you wont be disappointed with the retro, since ur using the best single xenon projector up to date, the mighty s2k

The Lighting Forum, especially the HID Retrofit Thread, has a lot of information to help you with deciding on multiple combinations, their advantages and disadvantages. good luck with the project and pooosst some piccss.

OK i get what ur saying, but 1. i need to basically repaint the whole car if i decide to shave the moldings and 2. i bought the car with some crappy sidemarkers in that exact location. instead of getting new fenders and having to paint them, i got some new sidemarkers and put them in that same location to cover up the hole. i dont like the look of sidemarkers to tell u the truth, but what was i gonna do? roll around with holes in my fenders?? it was an easy way to cover it up. if it was up to me i wouldnt have them on...

and as for the comment about "my car having everything Hype R" made my 9krevlimitdc2, the only thing i see on my thats "ITR" is the oem front lip and oem itr wing....i dont know how that constitutes "everything" like u mentioned. the oem kit came as an option on ALL integras, not only for the type r... </TD></TR></TABLE>

personally, i love the way your car looks.

screw that bandwagon crap about going "ITR" with the shaved side moldings. and secondly, the side markers aren't that bad. almost anyone out there on the open road could really careless how 'off' you are with the location of them. agian, another "JDM" bs. agian, realize how I mentioned "open road" not HT.

seriously, your car looks baddass the way it is.

actually, I do. aside from hardcore "jdm" enthusiasts (which I initially meant, but failed to say), no one would really care.

its pretty pathetic what this scene has become. you're a cm off and the whole h-t world bashes on you for it....you're a cm too high, and the whole ht world gets on you for it, you put a a set of rotas (as an example..and i'm sure a bad one at that) and you get comments such as "get the real Mugens," when you post a photo of your car with "out of the ordinary" wheels that holds some "jdm" stature and you're the ****.

its pathetic. seriously, what the hell DID happen to the scene? there's more bashing about what you have..or don't have on your car, the placement of where sidemarkers are, if your **** is authentic "jdm" crap or not.

like i said, on the open road, people wouldn't quite notice the exact placement of where authenitic 'jdm' **** is placed. its the open road...NOT h-t.

some people BUY their cars with all that **** done to their cars already, SOME, on the other hand put blood, sweat and a shitload of time into making their cars the way it is today. if its far from "authentic" so what? they know they did it, why not be proud.

its a bandwagon enough with all this "jdm" ****--seriously, who REALLY does care if a side marker is off? that's some pretty minor stuff to worry about.

..then agian, that's just me.

werd. ****, if you're going to put on side markers then put it on correctly. if the guy thinks its another "jdm bs" then might as well put it on the rear quarter panels or not put it on at all.

its an example. but the dude couldn't have done it right because the fenders were already pre-cut--he just filled the holes up.

anyway, this is lame.
