What do you guys think about the FITV?

And what about these coolant hoses?

I'm going to go to Advance Auto Parts and pick up a new FITV and a IACV. What should I ask for when I'm there, like the FITV's and IACV's common name. Also, does anyone know if I can just use any kind of vacuum hoses or do should I get new ones from Advance?

^ I plan on it, I found out that Advance has a thermostat, and a IACV, but not the FITV. I guess I'll go to Honda for the FITV. Where should I buy those hoses? Can I buy just any hoses and cut them to length?

I don't want to upgrade, I want to get rid of my GSR. All this happened over the weekend and was totally not expected. Now, I just want to fix everything so it runs like normal.

yeah send me a pic of the new dc.

go to autozone or any shitty auto store alike and they should have a cheap version of those rad hoses, like autozone should have duralast or something similar. If you want to sell your car those replacements are the best option. Those old hoses have more stretch marks than a 400lb woman. They should be pretty cheap too. I have good ones at home id sell ya but im at school and u prob need them asap.

Edit: as for those smaller coolant hoses that run from the head to the tb, you can get hose to any length at those stores for coolant and just cut a few feet, just not for the rad hoses.
