if you have an engine swap.. theres all these things you have to do to legalize it.. basically you have to go to the state smog referee and pass a visual inspection to make sure everything is clean.. all the vaccum lines are correct.. you have to have everything carb legal and all the parts, manifolds/ecu for whatever usdm swap you did.. its real confusing.. you also have to pass a regular smog inspection..

basically around my area.. cops are pulling people over and popping hoods like its cool.. and if you have an engine swap they will do anything to get you off the street.. my brother drives a 2003 CL type-S and they popped his hood the other day.. his car is not carb legal at all but he got out of it..

it feels nice to be legit/smog legal
