bump for the hoilday coming cant wait but can anyone tell me how can i tell if my tranny is a b16 its a cable say s1 the guy i bought it from says its from a jdm b16 but im starting to think its not just wanna make sure

only way to tell is to install and check the RPMS versus speed to see if its right.
AKA 80mph @ 4000 rpms=b16 tranny

4000rpm is a little low for 80 mph on a b16 tranny.. i think its more like 75@4000mph

I've been told the B20, but thats from people that prefer more torque as opposed to the high revving capability of a B16. But i think if i ever swapped mine out, i'd more than likely go with a b16 just for vtec. Once you go vtec, you never go back!!! Wait, who am i to talk...

Who needs a usdm 90-91 trunk lip, jdm Gathers rear speakers, jdm thin side moldings (I have 2 sets), jdm window visors, Xsi trunk and wing, jdm/usdm areo front lip, black rear sedan door handels (no lock for the fronts), jdm 90-91 tails or jdm 92-93 tails? Pm me if you do...
