look above the oil fill, there is a stamp that will say PL3/####
PL3/A### = small bearing case - DX/HF/STD
PL3/B000 = large bearing - SI/ZC
PL3/3000/6000/9000 = large bearing - SI/ZC

yours will most likely be 3000, 6000, or 9000.

 

Awsome thank's...but what is the difference from the 3000, 6000, or the 9000 or is it the same tranny? Oh and about the grill I am gunna polish it so it matches the lip on my wheel's!

This happened about two weeks ago cost me 460 to fix...lower ball joint broke

ive had the nut on my lower ball joint come off while driving before, it sucks!!!

 

I told him to but he said it was good and that it didn't need to be changed. But now when I take left hand turns my front passenger grinds...only when I turn or hit bumps though. Could it be the wheel bearing is going bad, it sounds like the brakes squealing

 

What in all was replaced? Something could be bent. If one ball joint failed, the other one will too.

I think upper, lower ball joint's and my cv axle.

 

What would happen if the wheel bearing goes out?

 

They would make a squeeling noise when moving and a up and down groaning noise when at freeway speeds.

i dont know of any difference.

 

Mine will be the one sitting on black wheels with a chrome lip, slammed. With a "Diverse Performance" sticker on the windshield. I took the "delSol" banner off. It looked tacky to me, after a while.

Look on the first page of this thread and you'll see my delSol.

 

Yup I feel sorry for it too...I still need to fix the fender and whatever is grinding when I turn.

 

I just hope my wheel don't fall off in the middle of the road again!
