Quick question for all you 96 front heads.. Will a oem fit lip fit this front end?!? I had one on my em1 and would really like one for my hatch.

the lip can be made to fit...but it comes up a little short on one end.

If you scroll down on the first page there is an example on a 96-98 bumper.

 

'96-'98 Civics have different front lip. I don't believe the '99-'00 OEM front lip (aka. Si lip/CTR lip) will fit on these front ends.

There is, of course, the '97-'98 CTR lip:



You'll see the '96-'98 underspoiler (aka SiR lip) on -Gambit-'s red hatch above and then there's the '98 optional lip (aka USDM lip) on coupe:

here's my sedan, pics are a bit old...has power folding mirrors now, is in Wyoming instead of Hawaii, and needs to go lower once the snow melts, lol. Some nice Civics in this thread!

 

thank you very much for the info. I am very fond of the sir lip, I had one on my last hatch. But I was looking for the ctr rep lip but can't seem the find it. The lip on the coupe, can it be found at Honda..?
