You kids will spend all your money on a car and then try like hell to make it as cool for your friends, or to make friends, as you can. You'll street race and cruise the strip or go to the mall. And if you're lucky, you'll have the money to just try to get the highest dyno number ever recorded.

You don't care if something is cheap, as long as it's different. You don't care if a wide tire is about to fall off the rim, it's WIDE Yo! You' ve never autocrossed, you've never done an HPDE. Why should you when public streets are free? You live in daily extremes, you want to be the lowest. You want to be a Corvette when you're a 4 door sedan. You have a 4 door sedan but are trying to defy daily the purpose of the car you actually have.

You're young. You don't appreciate balance. You don't understand balance. When someone talks about enjoying a well controlled car that can also transport the older folks from church, you balk. To you, that's ridiculous. It's all or nothing for you. When someone talks about a long cross-country drive in comfort, you think that's weak. If you're not getting stopped by the cops every other week for your tints yo, or for being 20db over the legal limit, or for blasting your tired act Infinity/Rockford Fosgate cheapass stereo, then you feel like you're not extreme enough.

But that's you. And you've got plenty of peers here now. Well, I understand. I used to live in extremes, where everything I did was to satisfy my desires to be seen. But as you get older, you may understand. You may appreciate cars for being the well-balanced machine that it is. You may decide to tastefully mod the machine instead of constantly trying to grope for attention. Or maybe not. You may be the ultra-rich guy getting remarried every other year while trying to bang your secretary in the process. You may think you're the envy of the world if you can buy every performance car the Big 3 makes and make sure everyone knows it. You may never stop trying to get the biggest dyno numbers evarrr...

This forum used to be amazing when you had guys who appreciated these cars instead of appreciating only themselves. The knowledge that came from here was amazing. Whether it was backyard mechanics, guys who had engineering backgrounds, guys who had a hand in developing computer programs all got together to make these cars truly better. Not just ricer. There was a wealth of active knowledge, not just the leeching that goes on today.

You youngins, in general, don't appreciate the road paved before you. There is a strong foundation of information. But instead of appreciating that, you scoff at it feeling as though you're entitled to it. There is no patience. It's instant gratification and if you don't get it, you come here demanding, or begging for, answers from the established veterans. When you're not begging for info, you're clogging the forums asking for what cheapass tires you can put on your powerful machine or what cheapass dubs look the best or what cheapass bulbs will make your ride look amazing...for today. Then it's rinse, repeat.

I just hope you can understand satisfaction someday...

Yall were talkin' about disbanding the team at the beginning of the year, decided against it and are now headed back in that direction again...
