Less drag( or under car wind/ pressure that actually causes lift) stiffer suspention = less weight transfer, its sexier, its still driven on the streets so simple wheel swap without messing with ride height....many reasons really as to why it helps....most people are 4x4 at the track because the need clearence for the slicks, and ideally in fwd a little rake is good keeping the rearhigher...so they have to ride a bit higher
