I have a D16a6 with a compression setup of 11, 6 to 1. Would it be ok if I ran nitrous? I know its pretty high compression but would it be some what safe? Would a tune make it better?

I'm not sure if this is the right forum so if it isnt and you cant provide the answer please point me in the right direction

 

Nitrous LOVES compression. So long as you get a real engine management system and have it tuned properly, I see no problems.

 

What type of engine management system should i look for?

 

is your car an obd1? if so u can take it to a tune shop and get it tuned on crome. they'll use your stock p28 ecu. just ask a tuner he'll tell you wat you need.

with that compressin why not run a zet wet kit, lot safer
but if you got the money, hondata ecu runnin the nitrous is safe and easy and it was a dry shot
