zeitronix WBO2 Datalogging not working
like the title says i can't get my WBO2 to data log and the unit acts really funny like i have the simulated narrowband outputting to an autometer AFR guage and it doesn't work half the time then when it starts to work normally after driving for about 30 mins it will quit working again after 15 more mins i'm confused with this whole thing and body have any clue what could be going on. Maybe a bad unit?
Do you have a laptop running the datalogging software?
Also why do you have a wideband setup, but you are using a Atometer A/F gauge? I've heard of people using those kinds of A/F gauges and modifying them so it can hook it up to a WB O2 sensor, but it sounds like you are trying to use it with your narrowband setup. If so that is pretty much pointless.
I think you need to check out this THREAD to help you figure out how your Zeitronix is supposed to be hooked up. And if your Autometer A/F gauge isn't modified to read a wideband signal you should consider getting rid of it and getting the Zeitronix A/F display or the LCD.

yeah i'm useing a laptop and the software just wont display any values or log anything.. it did work for like 10 secs while i was going down the highway earlier then it just stoped working again.
i am useing the autometer AFR gauge cause i have it in my pillar lol its hooked up to the simulated narrowband output.
i'm trying to get this too work so i can install my turbo this weekend and tune it with crome.. but if i can't get readings from the wideband that makes tuning rather hard..

Use the thread above and match your pin connections up with Snaill Tuning's. Make sure your signal harness is wired up to the same pins. Maybe if you went a little more into how your stuff is set up people might be able to help you. Like what type of connectors you used, what pins you have your signal harness hooked up to and what kind of laptop you are using.
And like I said that Autometer A/F gauge is pretty much worthless. You can hook it up to your narrowband if you like, but why bother when you already the WB setup which is a lot more accurate? all it's gonna do is bounce around when you are cruising and go full rich when you go WOT. If you get the LCD for $150 you can use it do display your actual AFR's from the wideband, and 3 other readings like EGT (if you have the zeitronix EGT setup), or your TPS %, or whatever.

i have it hooked up the same way that guy does. 3 ground wires to pin a26, power to pin a25, those are the only wires i have hooked up to the ecu i don't need the other datalogging features of the software cause i can datalog with my ecu for that stuff..
also the laptop i am using is a dell lattitude cpx j650gt it works perfectly for logging with ecu control. i'm useing a serial to usb adapter for that. and useing just plain serial port for the wideband.
i'm not sure what else to put.. maybe it won't work unless all the inputs are hooked up? but that seems unlikely.
i was reading that other page and it seems some people where having the same problem then it just started working. so if anybody has any ideas like what the port settings should be or anything come on here and let me know..

Ok, I see you say that you are using Crome to datalog with. I use Uberdata which has all that stuff for free. Did you buy the version of Crome with datalogging or are your using the free version? IIRC the free version doesn't have datlogging, just the one you have to pay $149 for. If you have the free version and it doesn't have datalogging, you could always the software for the zt2 to datalog.
