Zdyne Users, I need some help
you also got a problem with posting in the wrong forum??????? this should be in tech forum........ Good luck though
this forum is fine...
Visit my website, d/l the LS base tune. There is also a turbo tune. I converted a p74/p75 tune from a Hondata.

Cool, thank you. I appreciate any kind of help I can get. I can boost to 5 psi with no problem. Whn i get between 6 psi and 10 psi it gets choppy and the boost fluctuates irradicaly. Thats the only way I can think of describing it. It almost feels like its cutting in and out.
Hmmm, that is strange. You may want to try these things.
1) D/L that PR4 base tune I have listed on my site, start a fresh tune for you engine from scratch. Do an inj recal, fuel and timing compensation on the base tune. Save it and see if that helps. Just FYI Zdyne's tuna all have between 135~140% fuel compension and .6~.8 degree's of retard.
2) Even if the tune is not quite right for your engine it shouldn't cause your boost to flux. What kinda fluctuations are we talking about here 1~2 psi? Sounds like you may have a lose I/C pipe.
I ran the exact tune thats on my website on my engine for a good while and it ran really well. Lemme know if any of this makes since.

I wonder if its the wastegate? How can I tell? I have the boost set to 10 psi max with a greddy Profec B. I am using a TIAL wastegate. I posted about this before, but I will include it here also. I can turn the top of my TIAL around, is it supposed to do that? It has always done that though.
Ya know I don't think you should be able to turn the TIAL......I use a MBC, EBC's are too much of a hassle for me. Try disscounting your Profec, and running just off the spring and see what happens.
you know whats funny! I am running a Tune I made from a stock FI map and even though my fuel is set a 200% compensation. My A/F gauge shows I am not rich enough!! I have open loop setup right + forced induction is enabled. I am running a GM 2 Bar map sensor. I have no idea what the problem is.
Did you re-calibrate your tune to use the 2 bar MAP sensor? Good guess is that is you didn't do that your ECU is reading the output from your GM map wrong and adding fule for boost late, thus running you lean. I wouldn't turst the A/F guage, it'a good guestimate, just not very accurate.......I'm kinda bias tho, i'm running a FJO wideband now
Hop on my website and see how any of those tunes work for you.
