Default Zdyne opinions?

I'm prolly getting one b/c I have an OBD-0 car, but does anyone have experience with them? 900 is kinda pricey, but worth it right? Lemme know.

No experience, but I think it is a great product. The best for your car.

I like the fact that it doesn't require burned chips. It does lack datalogging, but that is less important to me than the nuisaance of requiring an emulator and burning ROM chips.

That said I will probably end up with Hondata in my GSR.. and ZDyne in my CRX.

Yes, it's worth it and I assume you're getting the ZDYNE gold. Two of my friends are running this ecu setup on their hybrids and it seems zdyne ecu's are pretty common on most of the hybrid cars. Laptop tuning is one of the greatest feature and when you're ready for boost, just switch to the boost program and you're ready to play again.

Hey howya doin? I have an 89 turbo ZC HF with the Zdyne Gold SECU and I love it. I boost to 8psi and I've never heard any detonation and my setup runs smooth.

Well worth the big bucks. And if you decide that you are tired of playing with cars you can sell it for not much of a loss. These things are in demand and if you can save somebody a little bit of money they are happy to buy.

you guys think the zdyne is capable of handling a 450-500 hp motor??i was totally set on a speed-pro/motec for my integra, but now i'm thinking hondata/zdyne just because its plug and tune, not mess with some wiring/plug/dyno tune like a real stand alone...

Well my map goes all the way up to 28lbs of boost so if you can make that much power at that much boost you bet ya you can. I would purchase a j&s safeguard if I were you to protect your motor even more so when your tuning you know when your detonating. The classic J&S is all you would need and those can be had for 300 or so nowadays.

I plan on running 13-15lbs on my stock motor when I get my 3" downpipe. After I get it im heading down to a dyno!!
