Default ZC turbo?

anyone running obd1 zc dohc turbo setups? I can get one of these motors for free and believe it is a direct swap would this be a good motor for turbo? or should I just get a cheap d16z6?

Two cams = more tuning potential than one. ZC has a higher CR, but the difference is insignificant. If it's free and leakdowns OK, go for it.

are the zc rods as strong as the z6?and if using uberdata could i use the p06 ecu with an ls map for a base?

Couldn't tell you for sure about the rods. The ZC rods are the strongest D series rods, or they're just like any other D16 rod, depending on who you want to believe. I have no experience with Uberdata, so I can't tell you one way or the other. I'm a firm believer in Megasquirt, though, as I use it in my AllTrac, and if you're interested, you can PM me for my AIM name and I'll bend your ear something good.
