Default Your thoughts

Ok, noob here. I'm not claiming to have great knowledge or poking any sides. A member on this site I'm not sure his name but it's 2000si on http://www.mustangforums.com. He constantly flaunts himself on the mustang forums as the import/sport compact guru always commenting everytime something bad is said about one of the two. Ofcourse a stock soch with a fart can catches a lot of **** there but he makes excuses reguardless, in one instance even gave me **** for myself talking about how it was a good thing that the zx2 escort stopped production because of its rampid rice incline. So there is my whine on with the forced induction, I've read through the posts here and It seems the full-race turbo set-up is the best for the money as long as you aren't in so-cal, but not wanting to admit wrongness he insist on claiming the edelbrock kit is the best for the money, I was just curious as to what fellow import and sport compact peers thought of the two kits: his thoughts:

What the hell are you talking about. Civil conversation. The only thing you do here is cry about imports. I know you are a member on honda-tech so unless you are just in the kills and interior sections I don't see how you could miss hearing about full-race.com, and believe me edelbrock isn't the only company that includes a bov in their kit, and if that is what make it such a good deal have a blast getting reamed by the guys. If you would be willing to be educated I am just trying to help you in the long run man, [link=http://full-race.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=24_44&products_id=30]Education![/link]On top of what you were looking at which I've seen the kit, this is the stage 2 version and it is still under $3800 has the 38mm wastegate and the 50mm bov all you need is the manual boost control. Just trying to help you, I can't help it you are so stubborn......

all i do is cry about imports huh? I guess all those posts in the 4.6 section of me asking about this and that are crying about imports huh? [8|]

I've never heard of rullrace.com, It's not a very popular kit on HT or HS, of which both I am on.

But, by the fact that I have two exterior mods planned, no I don't sit in the kill stories or interior/exterior rice patties on either one, they're rather lame. I sit in the EG+, and all motor sections on HT and I go to HS to ask questions and look up **** in the reference section.

You know, to learn stuff, the same reason I come here... that way I won't be as ignorant as you come off.

The edelbrock kit.
Garrett T28 ball bearing Turbo preassembled with exhaust manifold and elbow, including coolant and oil lines
Performer X manifold preassembled with secondary fuel rail and four additional injectors
State-of-the-art electronics to control boosted fuel and timing
Preassembled Russell fuel and oil lines with adapters
Large Spearco intercooler with TIG welded cast aluminum end tanks
Tial blow-off valve
Edelbrock boost gauge by Auto Meter with A-pillar mount pod
Ceramic coated Turbo piping and high flow air filter
All gaskets, adapters and instructions
O-ring sealed compressor inlet/outlet pipe flanges

[image]http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/sport_compact/images/turbo/turbo_components.jpg[/image]

Price? The D series bases around $3000, extras for gaskets.

Now your petty little full race crap you have going on...

Includes:
-Full-Race AC Manifold
-Full-Race 3" 4-bolt Downpipe
-Full-Race Intercooler 22"x8"x3"
-Full-Race T3/T04E Turbo
-Tial 38mm Wastegate
-Tial 50mm Blow Off Valve
-Full-Race Custom 2.5" Aluminum Intercooler Piping
-Full-Race Oil Line Kit
-Full-Race Vacuum Line Kit
-Full-Race Hardware Kit
-Full-Race Gasket Kit
-Full-Race Silicon Coupler Kit
-Full-Race Hose Clamp Kit

Do you see any fuel and timing controllers in the full race kit? To you see a properly sized Garrett T28 in the full race kit? I don't.

150 more horsepower for a whopping $1000 more?? ...screw that... I don't want, or need that much power. 300-350 is what I'm aiming at. Low boost, mildly built motor with a turbo kit is all I want. The Non AC kit you showed me is cheaper but I'm not getting rid of my AC since this will still be a daily driver.

All in all, the full race is a kit, but not as complete and WAY more pricey than the edelbrock kit. I think I'll stick to my original plan. Thanks.
</TD></TR></TABLE>

And just pointing out, I know most know,he used the stage 1 comparing instead of the stage 2 which I was pursuading towards. And when was 150hp for $1000 a bad deal. Once again I appologize if I'm seeming like a little bitch treading soil but what are you guys teaching?

I have no clue what the question is besides the fact that if I understood the post 2000si thinks the edelbrock kit is much better then the full-race kit. Which is really really funny. Why don't you ask 2000si what his screen name is on honda-tech so we can all make fun of him?

There really was no question I just wanted everyones thoughts on what he said since he claims there is nothing he doesn't know about honda's. Also thoughts on the fact that Full Race is not a very popular turbo kit neither here nor Honda Swap. So really just input is what im looking for no answers.
