Yeah, I have prooved this on a real 1/4 mile event. But it was 115 degree hot = 115mph. For the Gtech test, it was realy cool outside and night.

2000 Civic Si, JRSC @ 8psi, dyno'd at 215 whp -> 14.09 @ 106.5 mph
Keep in mind that the GTECH usually reads 3-4 mph fast on the mph.

I've ran at the track with the gtech and the et is normally within .10-.15 but the mph is 7-12mph off and sometimes more. I think launching hard on slicks really throws it off. But the et is normally very consistant. I just got a new gtech competition in at work but haven't had time to play with it yet. Its susposed to be with in .02 accurate and it will even plot hp and tq. I'm interested to see how well this works.
at the track I ran
11.62@120 and on the same run with the gtech I ran
11.71@129

it is not worth when you only want to measure one car, and thats done!
You can Gtech your friend, fathers, mums car.............when you make improvements to your car you can measure it too.
We measured an S3 with heavy 18 inchers va light 17incher. Got way better results.....when moding your car, you can test it with the gtech if the mod was good or not.
here is tha Audi Gtech thread!

So from what you guys are saying, this thing seems to be somewhat close to actual times.. For some odd reason, I could of swore I read a post along time ago about people bitching that this thing was really shitty or something..
I may have to consider this now..
