I took an o2 sensor to pepboy's and found that an axel nut for a geo worked. Don't remeber the exact model but you can slip the nuts out of the packages to check.

the thread pitch is 18 x 1.5. You can go to a nut and bolt place and find a nut that thread. Isn't the prettiest thing but it'll work.
