Default wrx intercooler setup on a honda?

I'm thinking of different ways to stuff the intercooler in my accord, and I came across a wrx intercooler. Would it be insanely stupid to buy an STi hood scoop, cut a hole in my hood, and put the intercooler on my accord?

The only problems I can think of are clearance and engine temp. Any advice?

Or if that doesnt work any other options to mount an intercooler?

Should I buy an intercooler from a DSM gen 1 or 2 and put that somewhere instead?

I'm skeptical about front mount intercoolers...

wont fit. bad placement. inefficient. heatsoak. wont get killed by rocks if you rally. otherwise IMO a waste of time and money, but its a different approach.

skeptical about front mounts? why because everyone uses one? try putting the IC in the trunk then.

an IC needs airflow what better place to get it but the front of the car?

well maybe on top of the roof....
