the screw looks to be what holds the rotor in place....i thought if the dizzy had 2 plugs it was obd1? im not 100% though.

That is the rotor screw. Locktite blue will hold it in fine if you have problems.

The distributor is fine. All the OBD2 or OBD1 b-series internals will work. No need to get another one.

you can rotate the distrubutor a little bit clockwise (retard) or counterclockwise (advance)...you should loosen the 3 dist. bolts and get a timing light and set it to stock ignition timing....just to make sure its ok when u take it in for tuning.

Distributor will work. 16 degrees. Good luck. Might want to get a manual while you are at it. Sounds like some basic things are still ahead of you.

also, the dist. for a b18b and a b18c are different bolt patterns. So if all 3 of your mounting bolts for the dizzy to the had line up, you are good.

did you get this number off of the coil? Check the number outside of the dizzy on the dizzy leg. The previous owner may have replaced the coil. Some people say that vtec dizzys dont work on non-vtec motors. wth
