are AN wrenches really needed for AN fittings?
just wondering if i really need to spend money on AN wrenches for AN (earl's, russell, etc) fittings. do regular open ended wrenches round the edges?
Little electrical tape arund an adjustable wrench should do the trick, I do plan on picking up the set from Summit though.

i use whatever makes it turn.. from regular to locking wrenches, cheap adjustable wrenches always come loose as you apply more force.

When I install the hose ends I always install the rubber guards on the vice and wrap the adjustable wrench with tape. On the motor/vehicle I use dual adjustable wrenches wrapped in tape.

If you are going to be using AN fittings on your car, its good to invest in the wrenches. You dont want to mess up the look of the fittings in the long run.
