Default Wow!!!!!

Look what just came in for a car that I will be building! It is beautiful! Some of the best welding I have ever seen! It is a Revhard Equal Length Stainless Steel Manifold flanged for an HKS Standard Wastegate!

Nice...

I dont imagine you get to keep the A/C with that one.

Wonder what the gains are with that over a standard revhard manifold.

Looks cool -- How far down is the turbo flange from the head flange? It looks to be the same depth as a kooks or equivalent. Oil drain iassues arise sometimes when gravity has difficulty providing a feed.

and why does everythign you type end in an exclamation point! Just busting your ***** Luis! !

can we see a pic of the collector?

The runners are actually a little longer that the Kooks Racing unit.

I am unexplainably excited when I send messages to this group of poeple! You all make me so hyped!

I can take some more pics this afternoon. Are you trying to copy their design Geoff?

J/K!

What is the deal with Equal Length Stainless Steel Manifolds? Do they work better? I was thinking about getting an Inline Pro exhaust manifold. http://www.inlinepro.com

Beautiful, I have been looking at this puppy for my prelude for a long time not but it's hard to justify the price. It looks much nicer as well polished over just steel or SS.

I remember you posting a bit back about how you thought an equal-runner manifold would not make much of a difference(not in those words), you will have to tell us the outcome.

I am not sure if that was me who said it wouldn't make much of a different in power. That is the whoel reason why I chose to run this manifold than the Revhard Tubular Steel manifold that I already have! Now, I may have said that Equal length manifolds are not good for a daily driven street car only because the constant contraction and expansion of the metal can cause the welds to break. This is going on a Street car, but by no means is it going to be a Daily Driven car. It is for a buddy of mine who wants a fast weekend car! He has his 2001 Celica GTS that he drives every day! This should make pretty good power even with us running a T3/T04E. I chose the T3/T04E for several reasons:

1. Cost - They are pretty inexpenisve these days
2. Power -I am a firm believer in the T3/T04E. They have made 500+ whp on several cars even with cast iron and log style manifolds! This manifold should flow a lot better than any log style or cast manifold.

I will keep you all informed when it is time to get the car running!

TRR has a very similiar manifold for way cheaper. Looks just like the revhard one but I'm pretty sure the length of the runners are different. One can purchase the TRR manifold for around 400 bucks are so.

*note* TRR manifold comes with a t3 flange on it, so if you using a t3/t4 you will have to modify it.

Can you measure the header ? If you say it is actually longer than the kooks, id like to see. My equal length manfiolds runners stretch out to 19" at the ID.

As for the design? I am definately not going to "copy" it louis. There is enough creativity in my head that i dont need to copy other peoples work. I just wanted to see if the collector is a merge.
