Would this be an air pocket in my system?
I've been noticing my temp gauge going up sometimes when I'm at a light. It doesn't do it all the time just sometimes. Under boost the temp gauge stays normal. After I stop It may go up a little. But as soon as I drive it goes down instantly. My fan is coming on, and i don't think it's a head gasket. Car still is normal and pulls great.
This morning before i went to work, I pulled the radiator cap off and let it warm up. Before i knew it the coolant was not flowing threw the system, but it was ready to spill over out of the radiator. Sounds like a Air pocket to me. Let me know what you guys think.
Oh yeah. My over flow tank climbed a little as well.
EDIT:I think I figured it out........I said My fan was coming on..but it's really not. can someone tell me where the fan fuse is under the hood. i lost me cap to it when I was at the movies setting my stock alarm . If that's not blown what can cause the fan to come on sometimes and not others?

If you have a air pocket in the system, you should see air bubbles when you start up the car with the rad cap off. You may not able to see the coolant flowing through because the thermostat stays shut until you reach the normal operating temperature. There are a couple of bypass holes in the thermostat, but I doubt there will be enough flowing through to let you see the coolant circulating the radiator.
If you really want to see if there is air in the system, just let your car idle until it reaches its operating temperture (thermostat opens) with the rad cap open.

Try to do a complete bleed in the system and see what happens.
In addition, I think it's perfectly normal that the thermometer needle rises when you're idling. The coolant actually heats up when you're idling, unless you have a thicker rad and a high performance cooling fan.
When your car starts rolling, the amount of air flowing through the radiator is much higher than your cooling fan. That's why you see the needle goes back down.

7months...Im not losing coolant niether.

bleed your system and find out if it solves the problem or not. If you bleed the system and it still overheats then you can look different problems.
when im driving my temp guage is at 160-170 when i stop at a light it clibs sometimes to 205 then the fan kicks on. i thinks its normal, i have a new thermostat and fluidyne radiator, and new water pump.

Don't lie antwaine you know you went ricer and thats why you put that carbon fiber sticker on the fuse panel.
the fan may have come unplugged or just not getting a good connection.
test the fan by hooking power and ground up to it, but don't stick your thumb in it like I did and cut your finger to the bone.
