Default Worth getting oversized valves

im starting to put together all the parts for my turbo setup and im wandering if its worth it to get oversized valves its going to be a ported head with a completely new valvetrain. not to worried about cost just wandering if there is any pro/cons to this.

for a gsr head if that makes a difference

Ask whoever is porting your head. The valves go hand in hand with the port design.

That goes w/o saying that the seats are reshaped for the larger valves. Slap larger valves w/o changing anything else, and you get no benifit.

In general oversize valves will be "worth it".But it is usually a preference of the porter. If your looking to make 300hp than it really doesn't matter. If you goals are in the 600hp+ than it makes a real difference. But like I said before it's really a question for your head porter.

there is no need for oversize valves, you can easily make more than enough power with a completly stock head.
