its a good starting point....but get the parts you need to reach your goals... i personally think that you could use a stock IM for this power but thats up to you but i would also build my engine, at least the bottom end, for this kind of power
but thats just my 2 cents

Um no a k swap turns in to way more then you think lol and a boosted b series will rape a stock k series all day with a good setup like mr Evans has suggested. You don't need o rebuild the engine if it's healthy leave it alone and get the correct turbo parts and a good tuner. 300-350 on a bone stock vtec engine isn't a new thing and with a good tuner it will be very reliable. Just get headstuds to make sure you don't end up with head lift and the rest is stout enough unless you plan on driving like a total douch and beat the **** out of your car on a daily basis

Re: is this worth following
^^^ appreciate the info, its needs to have another headgasket it leaks oil on the corner but I want to replace the pistons and rings also so if a do a stock rebuild and get the turbo set up sugessted and a good tune im good. the motor has arp headstuds and intake mani all ready. Should I go with stock gsr pistons or type r.. i know the gsr are a lower compression correct
and no I wont be driving like a douch just wanna have some power so when wifes talking **** i can shut her up,lol vtec alone doesnt really do it anymore.....

Re: is this worth following
If your going to put in new oem piston and such then just put in some srp pistons and eagle rods or at least the pistons. And stick to lower compression ratio so it's safer for pump gas

Re: is this worth following
Its easier to just buy a ful kit but has to be from a good place. and it seems more and mroe that these places are back logged with orders which makes no sense to me that in a failing economy they cant keep up with demand but in a booming economy they could??? AFI makes a great setup, ful-race is obviously top notch stuff. some other companies out there are good as well but idk about timelines so
are you trying to retain a/c and p/s ? I personally run a SPA cast top mount and i love it. boost control is perfect an it handles the power and flows very well for a cast piece. im in a gsr with a/c and p/s too

Like perseverance said we rebuilt the motor about a year and a half ago but we rushed it because I needed my car
