wont idle with 3 bar map
i am running a chipped ecu on a turbo b18b1, the car runs fine until you reprogram the ecu for use with a gm 3 bar. once you change to a 3 bar, the car wont idle anymore, i found instructions on several web sites and wired it up the way they all said, but i will not stay running. any help appreciated

What basemap or sofrware are you using? It will more than likely need tuned right away.

Re: wont idle with 3 bar map (93turbo16)
we are using a chipped ecu from phearable.net, with chrome for tuning, also we have the innovative motorsports lm-1 (lambda) air/fuel meter, with a bosch wideband

What is the wideband telling you then? I bet you add 20-30% of fuel to the 3bar map and it will idle.

most of the time it is an incorrect wiring that causes the car not to run with the 3-bar. with the car on datalog whats going on with the car. the car should be idling around 21 in-hg in the maps. if its idling in the boosted portion of the maps or at 0-psi then u need to rewire the map sensor. if everything is good, check the a/f and tune it out.
