Default will this work for assembly lube???

this is all they had at my locl napa, im just using it for the cams, and other odds and end bearings etc.

you might want to mix it with some standard oil...

Im not familiar with that product, so I would rather see you mix it like 50:50 with oil...

but thats my opinion...

if you are using stock head bolts...ONLY use 10w30 on them when TQ'ing....if you're using ARP's ONLY use moly lube on them

other than that, that should work perfectly fine...you just have to remember to use the correct lube for the head bolts/studs

I usauly use oil additives such as STP its real thick and sticky. Used it on 4 motor build ups and when i first turn the motor up the pump primes fast.

As Clevite is one of the largest plain bearing mfg. in the world, and makes that lube to be used as an assembly lube for eng. bearings, why do you think someone here would know more than Clevite?

foreal, don't Clevite make lots of bearings for domestics? Anyhow, looks cool to me, I used ***. lube from Autozone.

I got some '79 Honda CVCC bearings and 2 CVCC pistons from Clevite, so they make some import stuff

well im sorry for asking, we all cant know everything like fine people like yourself. why the **** do you think im asking, cause i dont know ive never heard of clevite before in my life, so whatever.

thanks to all the people who actually helped me, and im not using it for head studs, just cam caps.

That lube is good, it came with my ACL bearing kit.

I used this stuff my mechanic gave me, very thick stays on them bearings good

just make sure your clevite lube its thick....You should be fine
