I found a good deal on a kkk k26 turbo off a porsche, but I'm wondering if its a good idea. Will this turbo work well on my b16 crx? Let me know fellas.

 

sure, as long as the exhaust housing isn't too big. 2.5~3.2liter Porsche engines can spool a turbo a lot easier than a B16 so big exhaust housings do not hurt the lowend performance of their engines.

 

We just pulled one off of an Audi 5000. Fuckign thing is clean as hell and it is a wet center housing. We will clean it up more too. Oh, no shaft play spins freely and no fluid on either side.

 

Hey man since your from san antonio AAA pick a part just got in a saab with a complete t3 turbo for $100. I went yesterday after school and saw it but they didn't want to sell just the wastegate so I past it up but it looked alright. I didn't check the shaft though.

AAA pick a part is right across the street from Pick and Pull. Off of highway 16 south just past palo alto college like going to alamo dragway. They told me $125 first but then said $100. Its a gold saab and you have to bring your own tools also.
