will i need a turbo timer
plan on boosting 8psi on my B20B. everything on the motor is stock. do u guys think i will need a timer or let it cool the ol' fashioned way -btw if so which ones should i look at
Turbo timers are for ricers. Just sit in your car for a minute or two and let it cool down before you shut it off. I don't even let my car cool down if I wasn't hard on it.
Use the extra money saved and buy some beer.

absolute waiste of money.. pretty much everytime you will drive in vacuum before shutting off the car, whenever that happens, i turn the car off right a way, even after hard driving i still end up driving mild right before parking and turning off the car, so i just turn it off within few seconds or right away. almost 30k miles on turdblow

is the turbo watercooled? if so, then you probably don't need one. my t3/t4 is not watercooled and i once let the car sit for a couple minutes idling after some hard driving and my oil temp actually went up by about 20 degrees. needless to say, i'm not buying one.

I think its optional also, I didnt run a turbo timer on my car for a while, until I bought my alarm and it had turbo timer options, if it wasnt for that, i would of never gotten one...
