will i break an oem itr lsd at this level??
looking ahead a few months, thinking of running an ls trans with the 4.4 fd. given that gearing im looking toward some 23.5 inch slicks. car should be making a little over 400whp and around 275tq. how will the oem itr lsd hold up or is it not even worth it. i will be preloading of course, maybe launching somewhere in the 6000 range...
i guess i should add that i run autozone replacement axles, to kinda make an easy weak spot and a cheap and quick fix if something were to really break...

I've been running the JDM ITR LSD in my GSR tranny for 10k miles now. Been holding up just fine. I'm putting down 400whp and 300tq. Shouldn't be a problem at that power level. Guys are pushing much for than that on them.

that all depends on traction. if the car hooks up hard, I would look into something stronger, if its just street tires (i.e.: not drag radials) then i dont see you have a problem.

My 10k miles have been on BFG 205/50/15 drag radials and now on 205/50/15 MT drag radials. I only break loose in 1st.

Re: (numbnuts22715)
well i have 205/50/15 bfgs now but will be running a slick somewhere in the 23-24" range.
i know quaifes are worth it, but im seriously trying to move out of my god damn parents house over here, and need to limit the car spending for a while...
if it looks as that lsd wont survive well, ill just use the oe open diff again
