Will a hone fix this?

Also, do the pistons have any markings on them to indicated wether or not they are oversized? I measured the bore, and the bore seems to be 3.200in... which, according to the helms is the oversized size.

you can hone it if you cannot feel those scratches. if you can feel them, then you would bore it.

Take your fingernail and scratch it perpendicular to the vertical marks. If it catches on a scratch, you may need to move to a larger bore. Sometimes you can get lucky and a hone will fix things, but you will be running some loose tolerances.

Ok, so what are my options? I can feel the scratches with my fingernails (don't know if I'd say they "catch" on the scratches) so I suppose it needs a bore. Pistons are already oversized stock pistons...
