Will this be high enough for my catchcan?
I am installing my Endyn Catchcan kit and I cant seem to find room in my EG that is up high. In a past honda-tech thread I found this. Could I mount my catchcan like this or is it to low?
(That is not a Endyn but you get the point)
Any other suggestions?

I was able to mount my Z10 to the strut tower in my EH-3. I don't have a good pic of it though. It was mounted under where the wiring harness is mounted to the strut tower.

I would think that would be the reason. I didn't run a return line on mine. It had a plug at the bottom for draining.

I know it needs to be mounted higher for return reasons but if im not using the return does it have to be higher?

try it on the passenger wheel well strut tower area, there are two holes that line up pretty perfectly for it.

Yep that is just about where mine was mounted. It worked great on my NA car and I didn't get any major oil or sludge in it.

well obviously i would be draining it, I dont want to run it back after reading all the posts on what the residue inside of there actually is, its more gasses then oil

i run it back without any issues, unless you have really bad leakdown and alot of fuel is making it past your rings, it should for the most part be oil.

think about this..if you are going to run the drain back with the pcv on top of the catch can..why would you waist the cash on something that would do the same thing the tank on the back is doing..i have a new type r build and i do not drain back..and after drianing the ish out of my can..on why i would ever drain back....

Just remove the wireing harnesses and let them hang in the engine bay.
