wierd timing problem , please help.
ok im running uberdata , and i have my ignition timing set to 16 degrees on my chip . this is on a 2000 d16y8 . when i try to set my timing at the dizzy , with the timing full advanced at the dizzy im only getting to the TDC mark on the crank pully . why is this happening?
I had the same problem on my d15b, before tuning I attempted to set the timing to stock, with the distributor fully advanced it was still 1* retarded.

bump for running uberdata on a y8. Stock ignition timing is 12 degrees for the y8. Also you may want to look into subtracting 4 degrees everywhere on your ignition tables. I did anyways so i wasn't running 4 degrees too much timing.
