Hey guys,

They have arp's, same material as Eagle's... any feedback on these? I had planned on getting some FJ rods + vitaras, but if these work just as well, why not?

Anyway, if anyone has feedback, that'd be great.

Don't Eagles come with ARP2000s?

IDK man, Eagles have taken the beating for so so so many people on this forum alone. Not saying these are a bad product, but I have the distinct feeling that you will be guinea pigging them so to speak.

IMO, Eagles are $300 and might as well be bulletproof in a D16. Can't really go wrong.

 

True... However, are you just paying for the name?

I know that Eagles (and likely these) are Chinese made and then "finished" in the US.... I guess I'm wondering if it's the type of thing where these are made in the same plant, and just roll out with the "eagle" name on them...

 

Try it out and let us know, also if you are tripping out over 100 bucks maybe this is not the hobby for you?

Rods are kinda important and I would not want to get some BS so it can fail..

 

did you notice it says bolts not included and arps are about 80 more so your at eagles anyways.

 

Im pretty sure all the budget rods are coming from the same place the Scat,Eagle,Xbrand etc etc. The ones in the first link include ARP rod bolts im sure the 8740 bolts are more then enough for your D16 setup.

 

$200 plus 50 shipping...you can get eagles brand new for 50 more including shipping and with better bolts and at least a name.
