whos runnin' s200b?
ive noticed lately, about 3/4 of the time im at WOT a rev limiter will kick in around 6500rpms and other times it wont. I know its not the boost limiter tho. i dunno if it has to do with the hondata s200b or not. Any idea of what could be causing this? thanks.
the tuner is in japan now, haha, so i cant contact him. it was tuned about a year ago and this problem just arose in the past day. im thinking it has something to do with the s200b unit itself. the LED indicator light on the unit will stay solid red for 6 seconds, then goes out for a split second, and as far as i know the indicator LED is supposed to not blink at all. so im guessing the problem might be related to that? but then again im not sure because the indicator light has been doing that for a while now...

DaX,
i contacted hondata, and all they could say is "all i can think of is the connection to the clutch pedal" which wasnt much help to me.
I also checked the ribbon connecting wire which is hooked up fine.
i was hoping someone on here had the same issue...or a hondata tuner would know what to do with this situation. the closest hondata tuning facility around here is JE Performance, which i might go to if i cannot resolve this myself.

We tuned a type r in a crx w/ 8 psi and it kept redlining at 6500rpm, did it off and on, look for a ckeck engine light and check the code. His check engine light did not work but Hondaloger picked it up. It turned out to be a cylinder sensor in the dizzy .also check your wiring from dist. hope this helps.
