i'm thinkin of gettin a custom dp made. what would be average price? this is for a d-series greddy kit and just to simplify things i only want the lower part made (cuz greddy split their's into two pieces. basically i'm just looking for a 2"-2.5" that will clean my oil pan and as long as the bottom end lines up with the stock cat location. here's a pic of how the stock greddy piece looks. typical 3 bolt flange on the top and flange to the cat on the bottom end:


i think i'll just have the bottom part made to make it a lil cheaper and cuz that mitsu turbo has that weird 4 bolt pattern crap:


there's guy on this board who has one i'm pretty sure, but i doubt he'll want to part it from the kit he's selling. just entertaining some offers and plannin for the future. thanks

Check with Viren (b18bturbo) I saw a post a while back with pictures of his dp's. Very nice quality and a great guy to deal with. HTH

hmm, so he has already fabbed a soch turbo dp before? maybe he still has the specs so i dont have to send him mine....cuz i drive mine daily and i don't really wanna run open dp here. damn this fawking 4 bolt pattern. they could've at least made it some common pattern so i would have more options. oh well, thanks alot for the suggestions guys

 

I think the one you're thinking of is falcongsr, and he has a Greddy GSR..should be fairly similar.

 

I can build it, no problem there. But, i didn't make a jig for the ones i've done so you'll have to send me yours to duplicate...

have a little problem with fitment on my friends car...doesnt clear his radiator...but other than that i havent heard any bad stuff about viren...im sure he will help us out.
