where can i get a inline pro head gasket??
anyone know the best place to get the inline pro head gasket? i heard of people running up to 20 psi of boost on a stock block w/ the inline pro head gasket alone. so, where can i buy one? -

http://www.inlinepro.com ? they're good guys
Just get a thicker cometic from hondasaver. Its around 120.00 for the headgasket that lowers your compression 1 point and at least 100.00 cheaper than the inline pro's.

Maybe cheaper, but it still isn't inlinepro.
I don't know about you guys, but just because it has the name InlinePro on it doesn't necessarily mean that it's all gravy. *Although they do make good products* I really need to be convinced about the product before shelling an extra $100 for something I can get cheaper and does the same job, if not better. Just my 0.02.
you got me there, i don't know how to convince you. I will just boost the inlinepro, because that's what i use. I don't know if one is better than the other, i have no experience with cometic. I just know that inlinepro puts out bad *** cars, and i trust that since the use it on their car, i'll use it on mine. Does cometic have a drag car?
And why are you going to use an inline headgasket if you're completely building your motor?? That sounds completely idiotic to me. Just buy the right CR pistons. Sounds like a real good way to waste money, or just a way for u to get reamed in the a$$ and pay more money.. Save some money and use a stock headgasket!

your right, it would be stupid for me to use their low comp headgasket. I never said i used that one though. Sorry i didn't clarify myself. My motor is built, i'm using low comp pistons, that's the correct way to lower compression. I'm using a stock headgasket, but one that they do things work their magic on. I wouldn't waste money like that. I do recommend though if you don't plan building the motor to use their headgaket. Or if you do build it and buy aftermarket pistons with a stock compression you can use their low comp headgasket. I have heard that this makes a very good design due to the pistons flat top or something to that effect. But i am using low comp pistons and a stock thickness headgasket.
Cometic might not have a race car, but I know guys who have gone fast on their gaskets like me and others. Cometic is not going to have a race car because they make gaskets, not cars. thats what inline pro does. Do they make their own gaskets like cometic does? I bet they have them contracted out because they build cars, not gaskets. Inline pro gaskets seem to work for people, but the cometic will work just as good. Id save the money and go with cometic.
Of course pistons is the way to go. I have seen people using stock compression JE pistons with an Inline headgasket tho, I am not sure why though.
don't get me wrong ninesecrx, my question of does cometic have a car was not to be a smart ***. I knew it probably sounded that way, that's why i put the ? hoping that people wouldn't think that. I'm just sayin inlinepro because i use their product and recommend it. But if you can find something cheaper that works the same, buy it.
I actually heard that Inline's different bore size gaskets are actually rebadged cometics, except with a $20 mark up. I'm not referring to their thicker headgasket.. I don't know how true it is, but seems like it's definetly possible. As far as I know, cometic is the only company that actually manufactures many different sized gaskets for hondas. Anyone know of any others?

Oh ok. Their first gasket was not outsourced. Maybe the peice that fit in the middle of the two gaskets was outsourced, but I know they put the gaskets together in the 3 peices, 2 stock and then the thick portion with zip ties to hold it. Now the gasket comes prepackaged in a 4 layer gasket and I know that that is outsourced.
