Chuck Seitsinger runs mid 8's n his Civic, and runs a shop called Alternative motorsports in Oklahoma City, OK
He does the work thing through the week, and the race thing on the weekend. When he was rookie of the year he was racing on his own dime, and still doing the shop during the week.
He posts on here as well as a few other forums i vistit.. I think his s/n is AlternativeChuck

its a stock b16 hydro trans. it has a libertysgears handcuff(takes 5th gear place) circuit worx 4.7 final drive, and Rob Moore spool

we are eventually going to use the complete libertys gears gearset and billet bellhousing.

Thanks for the info man
How long have you been running the handcuff? How often do you need to tear down the tranny? I've been thinking about the cuff. I have had zero transmission problems for five years and just put in an OBX LSD so I'm probably due for something to pop!

Re: Where are the <9 civics? (raene)
we've been using the handcuff since the begining of this season, so far we have stripped out all the teeth off of 1st gear, put it back together... made like 10 more pass's then stripped all the teeth from 2nd gear. the liberty cuff does help though, im sure we would have stripped out 3 and 4th gear, and possibly split some case's without it. we are getting about 10 pass's from the trans until it breaks something. hopefully it will last longer, with some more seat time. we have to "baby" it a bit so we can get some life out of it.
