when is an upgraded fuel rail required?
as topic says:
when would you require a larger capacity fuel rail (eg: STR or AEM) after 300+ HP or is it all a gimmic and the stock will do fine?

don't know what your setup will be, but as a reference, if you were using Hondata you would not need an aftermarket fuel rail or FPR. And the horsepower potentials utilizing Hondata are substantial. Well over 300
Unfortunately, I didn't do enough research and I had already purchased fuel rail. But I kinda like the Bling Bling affect.

I think there is a certain injector size, that after that point it is reccomended that you get a bigger bore fuel rail.
I however don't know that specificly, but I would say around 720cc.

I didn't need one but I bought it because:
a. stock b series rails are UGLY...D series look great when polished
b. i suck at tapping so i decided it'd be easier to have the rail with an ports already drilled

Yeah for any kind of power you need a better pump...any 255lph in tank will do...go with a standard pressure if you're not using an fmu. Good choice on the Hondata BTW....unlike some people here like to think, you don't have to use the AFC hack if you're running less than 300 hp.
