Default Wheel Hop, what to do???

Since I got my turbo I've been having wheel hop issues. I've already ruined my CD player because of it, is there anything I can do to keep my tires on the ground?
Thanks

Z10 radius arms? Not too expensive, and doesn't have any drawbacks that I know of.

You said it . . . . .and there's one more thing you can do also. . . . . get the Hasports solid rear engine mount, not the inserts. . . . www.hasports.com

Hope this helps.

I've been having a lot of wheelhop in 1st & 2nd gears w/turbo also, even with the polyurethane motor mount inserts.

I was wondering if getting new shocks would eliminate most of it. I have sprint 2.25" springs on the stock shocks with 60,000 miles on them. The car still seems to handle fine, but I was thinking that getting some KYB AGX adjustables would pretty much solve the problem.

Does anyone have any input on this?? Or would the Z10 radius arms be the answer?? I only have enough $$ right now to get one or the other, and I'm stuck as to which would be better. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

will the Z10 radius arms fit on your car with turbo on? They are supposed to go where the tow bars are on the front. Those were taken off when my turbo went in to fit the intercooler pipes on the car.

I had the kyb agx's in the front of my car with engine mount inserts, they didn't get rid of my wheel hop, when I switched to tokico illumas, they took care of it, no wheel hop at all, with weapon-r circuit pro coilovers.

So you say the illumina's stopped it, huh? I did a search and everybody seems to say that the AGX's are just as good as the illumina's, but cheaper. Even on full stiff, they still had wheelhop??

The Z10 site says they completely eliminate wheelhop, which is exactly what I want. Is anyone using these that can vouch for the fact that they really work??

the agx's were nowhere as good as my illuminas, they could not handle my 450 srping rate for nothing, even at full hard. going over a speed bump, at like 2 miles an hour, just creeping over it, and the shock would bottom out when I made it over the hump. at the track I could not get rid of wheelhop woth the agx's, 1-4 no difference. raise or lower the car no difference. I finally just raised the car all the way up and rode around on 4, becuase that would absorb most of the street's imperfections. When I switched to the illumas, the difference is defintely realizable, no problem with speed bump, imperfection is the road the I used to have to avoid, i can go over them (I notice that they are there, but they don't have as any harshness as they had before). setting 2 on my illuminas provided the same amount of damping as setting 4 on the agx's. Plus when I went ahead and lowered the car another inch, the ride, still got better, my cornering speed are ungodly now. Showing off with a friend at the light, I launched at 4500 rpms, and the car just peeled, no wheelhop as before, no "bang, bang, bang." Hell, I ride around now at 3 front, and 1 rear, now and I get better ride, damping, and stablitly, than, the 4 front, and 3 rear, I had to ride with the agx's.

im afraid of what it will be like after i get the engine swapped and add a turbo
i should invest in one of those
and a better suspension setup too

I am using the comp engineering ones on my turbo street car. I absolutely love them. But be warned... you will need to do some cutting on the bracket (brace) that connects to the side torque mount (driver side). It really wasn't a big deal but It definately was not a bolt on affair with the turbo installed due to the piping. I have no problem running them on the street. And yes they due TOTALLY eliminate wheel hop. They improved my 60' by .15 secs just by bolting them on.
